Tomorrow I’ll take a tour of Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle (which is perched high up on a vertical cliff) and take a boat ride to Bled Island on Lake Bled.

Jama is “cave” in Slovenian. This is one of the largest caves (amongst thousands) in Slovenia. It’s a short 45 minute drive from the capital, Ljubljana.

1st: I took this train to the middle of the cave.

2nd: I walked around for more than an hour in this gigantic cave.

3rd: I got a glimpse of the “human fish” that has arms and legs (but no eyes) that is only found in this area. They are also called “baby dragons.” They’re on display in this lil aquarium in the cave, next to the only underground post office in the world.
