(The city of three lies)
Sant means “holy” llana means “flat” and del mar means “by the sea.” This city is not holy, not flat and it is not by the sea; but it has been named as “Los mas bonitos de España” one of Spain’s most beautiful villages.
I don’t know if it was the beautiful city, the wonderful sleeping quarters in the convent or the company of fellow peregrinos (from around the globe) but this meal was the very best I’ve had on this Camino.
